Refund policy

Exchange/Return Policy:

All exchanges and returns must be made within the first 30 days of receipt of your order. Free return shipping is offered on all local Ontario orders (most "L", "M", and "N" postal codes). If a shipping charge was applied to your order, a return shipping charge in the same amount will also apply in the case of a return pickup arranged by Candace & Basil.

Returns must be in the following condition to be accepted:

• Free of damages caused by the customer 
  
• In original packaging with all the appropriate parts and hardware 
  
• Unassembled (and was never assembled) with sealed hardware kit
  

***All pillows, duvets, mattresses, mattress protectors, display items, open box items, made to order items and custom items are non-refundable and are final sale.

If an item is received damaged, it must be reported prior to assembly and within 3 business days of delivery.

If Candace & Basil stores the item for you for a deferred delivery, a $20/week storage charge will be deducted from the refund in the case of a return or cancellation.

Warranty:

Manufacturer's defects are covered for 1 year. If necessary, a repair will be arranged or a replacement item or part can be shipped free of charge within this period.

Please note that regular wear and tear and accidental damage is not covered by this policy.
